Welcome to 9jaChef. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the 9jaChef mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by NINEJA CHEF LIMITED ("we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in Nigeria (RC: 9815766).
By downloading, accessing, or using 9jaChef, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
9jaChef is a Nigerian budget meal planning application that helps users plan weekly meals, generate shopping lists based on local market prices, and discover Nigerian recipes within their household budget. The Service is available on Android devices via the Google Play Store.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use 9jaChef. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

9jaChef offers the following subscription tiers:
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. All payments are processed securely by Paystack. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise us to charge the applicable fee to your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Profile settings within the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will not be charged for the following month.
Refunds are available within 7 days of initial subscription purchase. After 7 days, no refunds are issued for the current billing period. To request a refund, contact us at hello@9jachef.app.
We may offer free trial periods (including through our referral programme). Free trials are limited to one per user. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue trial offers at any time.

The recipes, meal plans, and nutritional information provided by 9jaChef are for general informational and planning purposes only. We use estimated Nigerian market prices which may vary by location and time. We do not guarantee the accuracy of prices, nutritional values, or recipe outcomes.
Always use your own judgment when preparing food, especially if you have dietary restrictions, allergies, or specific health conditions. 9jaChef does not provide medical or dietary advice.
The 9jaChef app, its content, design, branding, and technology are the intellectual property of NINEJA CHEF LIMITED. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
If you submit feedback, ratings, or other content through the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and improve the Service based on that content. You retain ownership of your content.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
Market prices in the app are estimates based on available data and may not reflect current prices at your local market.
To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, NINEJA CHEF LIMITED shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or any harm resulting from reliance on meal plans, recipes, or prices in the app.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
